While you iPhone fans have been waiting for the iPhone 5 announcement - which turned out to only be the iPhone 4S - we've been busy drinking beer and creating strategic partnerships. We've teamed up with the geeks over at Beer-Universe to bring you our very own iPhone app. Now, as fashionable as it is today to have your very own app, our's is actually quite useful. For starters it looks very cool. It lists all the beers at Grovetoberfest and contains brewery information, beer descriptions and gives you the ability to rate the beers in real-time! Let's face it, the iPhone 5... I mean 4S release was really underwhelming. But our iPhone app release - that's exciting!
No. We are not iPhone snobs. We love Android too. And we have a strong like for Blackberry users. We just haven't finished those apps yet. But we will... soon.
Our interns are busy entering the beers. You'd be surprised how long it takes to enter 109 beers on a touch-screen. Although you can't download the app right now, you can take a look at some sample screen shots we tested with. We'll post a link to the app here and on our Facebook page when it's 100% ready to go.
